Covid-19 Update

Please read this before booking with us between now and June 21st

With the lifting of certain restrictions, but not others, we will be moving into a sort of transition between rules and regulations being tight on numbers inside, but loose in outdoor settings.

This will mean quite a bit of strain on some businesses as they make decisions that will be more about fitting the rules to the best running of their business, versus what the Government have said is allowed.

We have decided to stick to the rule of six both inside and outside our premises for the next five weeks until there is a further loosening of the rules.

This will enable us to put sides on our outside areas in bad or inclement weather, or take them off if the weather is good.

We understand that this decision is more tight than the current guidelines, but we feel it will help us to keep our service standards up and ensure we don’t create longer waits for food from our kitchen.

Our booking system will still be in place and will allocate the tables automatically. If we have requests for tables inside/outside, we will try to accommodate them as best we can.

We hope to see you all soon

We pride ourselves on our extensive range of Food & Drinks – See examples of our menus below

Welcome to the Bear, over the last 8 years we’ve tried to create a pub that everyone can enjoy. we offer great homemade food and a wide range of drinks, and as soon as we are back to normal service patterns we will be able to bring back our board games and book swap, as well as our regular entertainment evenings such as quizzes on a Monday, and live music every Thursday.

We serve great homemade food, using local suppliers, whether you are just popping into town for a quick shop, or coming out to meet friends to eat, drink, and put the world to rights!

We’ve tried to create a point of difference with our range of drinks. Our range of Belgian and Craft beers is unsurpassed by anyone in town, and our collection of spirits and wines is also global and far-reaching.

Come and join us, and say hi to Sully, Jazz, and the team!

A bit about our food

Our ethos is to make our own food, home made by the chefs on site as much as possible. We use a local baker (good Taste of Camberley), a local butcher (reeves of Yateley), as well as a local greengrocer (Rawnsley’s) to ensure our food is as fresh as possible as well as supporting the local independent economy.

We try to change our menu throughout the year to use seasonal produce.

A bit about our drinks

We try to have a point of difference with our beers and spirits. We stock a great range of Craft and Belgian beers, that aren’t found in most other pubs. We also try to make sure we have a good range of wines and spirits, as well as knowledgeable staff that can talk you through the products if you are unfamiliar with them.
